As you may have seen
on my social media, I was in Soweto this past Sunday. Though I didn’t post much
to “show off”, all I can tell you is that the brand knows how to bring people
together through music and, of course, some Flying Fish. About the day?... Perfectly
sunny (though a bit on the scorching side to be honest). The music was on point and
the company…Ah-mazing!
Hosted by Nomuzi Mabena and headlined by SAMA
award-winning tribal house outfit Black Motion, Mzansi’s movers and shakers
came together to celebrate unique pop culture movements that have risen out of
Soweto.
What I loved the most is that
#SowetoFlavour showcased different subcultures around Soweto as they came
together to display their unique flavour and styles. There was also a bus stop barber, where guests were treated to flavor-some haircuts courtesy of a
local barber (you know how much I love free ish). Check this out...
Wanna know where
Flying Fish will be adding some flavour next? Stay updated by following them on
Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (@FlyingFishSA).
Kudos to Flying Fish and the team at DNA Brand
Architects on a job well-freaking done! I can’t wait to go to the next one! Just to get you to have #FOMO, this is what you missed out on if you weren't there...
Now this calls for some Pressed Lemon flavour.
