New Music from Lulo Cafe's recording label- Cadence Cartel
With SABC radio stations playing 90% local music, I saw it quite fitting that I introduce y'all to Mmino (in case you don't know him) from the Cadence Cartel stable, Lulo Cafe's recording label. If you follow this blog you'll remember that I did make some noise about it.
Fresh on the heels of "21st Century" by Lulo featuring Mr January and "Tjhelete Pele" by Lulo's brother Mawe2, Cadence Cartel brings you another single by Mmino ft Thembeka - Nembeza.
Mmino's musical talent stems from his youth and has, over the years, grown as a Producer and House DJ - having been a radio DJ and Host on Alex FM as well as resident DJ for Newscafe and other well known venues.
He's also produced music for, and even collaborated with, well-known industry artists such as Psyfo , Lulo Cafe, Teargas and more.
Mmino's latest single, Nembeza, speaks to a South Africa that has been through its fair share and more recently, the xenophobic violence that was rife and based on a lot of misunderstandings. It was then when fear instructed his use and gift of music to try & bring about some sort of peace by pleading to the world through a medium of song.
