Mozambican Jazz Saxophonist Moreira Chonguiça releases new video for the track “KWETU KWA SIDUDU” from highly acclaimed album SOUNDS OF PEACE

Jazz aficionados will love this one. Morestar Entertainment is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated release of the music video for track “KWETU KWA SIDUDU/LAND OF CASSAVA” from jazz saxophonist Moreira Chonguiça’s latest offering SOUNDS OF PEACE that was released in November 2022.

The music video of “KWETU KWA SIDUDU/LAND OF CASSAVA” featuring Carlota José João and Raquel Akungondo in vocals, is a visual experience celebrating African heritage and traditions and is brought to life by the collaboration of talented videographers Mauro Vombe e Francisco Martins and dancers Atanásio Nyusi (in memory), Xindiro Companhia de Canto e Dança and entire community living at Bairro Militar.

Moreira Chonguiça and Morestar Entertainment are particularly delighted for the latest nomination of the album SOUNDS OF PEACE for the 7th Mzantsi Awards in the category: BEST INTERNATIONAL JAZZ ALBUM/ARTIST alongside albums from US drummer Makaya McCraven; Kokoroko, a Jazz/Afrobeat group from the UK; and Joshua Redman’s quartet which includes Brad Mehldau, Christian McBride and Brian Blade.
