The Union Bar pops up with Bombay Sapphire in the heart of Johannesburg
Last night saw one of the biggest events take place in the heart of Johannesburg. Held in Illovo, the launch of the Union Pop-up Bar with Bombay Sapphire was such a huge success with the some of SA’s biggest names in the fashion and entertainment industry not only showing off their faces, but also tantalising their taste buds with the lovely Bombay Sapphire cocktails that were doing the rounds.
What I loved the most, I must say, was the Bombay Botanical Garden with a girl whom I called "Alice" (from Alice in Wonderland). If you didn't know, Bombay Sapphire is created by
perfectly balancing a unique combination of 10 hand-selected exotic botanicals
from around the world. So what's happening in this room is that one gets to smell each and every botanical used separately. If you still don't get the picture, this might be of help:
