A Night With Legends 2025: A Full-Day Celebration of South Africa’s Icons, Heritage and Culture

The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC), through its flagship Mzansi Golden Economy (MGE) Programme, proudly presents A Night With Legends 2025, set to take place on Saturday, 1 November 2025, at Vodacom World in Midrand. This national showcase promises to be a fusion of heritage, entertainment and pride, bringing together generations to celebrate South Africa’s icons while creating space for new voices to emerge.

The experience will begin in the afternoon with the live screening of the much-anticipated clash between Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, which will be broadcast on big screens to create an atmosphere charged with excitement and camaraderie. As the sun sets, the spotlight shifts to the Legends Awards 2025, which will run from 5 PM to 8 PM. 

This prestigious ceremony lies at the heart of the event and will pay tribute to icons across ten categories, acknowledging excellence that extends beyond music into arts, heritage, business and community leadership. The night will then transition into a powerful concert celebration from 8 PM until late where the stage will come alive with some of South Africa’s most celebrated performers.

Audiences can look forward to unforgettable performances from Somizi, Arthur Mafokate in celebration of his 33 years in music, Kelly Khumalo, Vusi Nova, Nomfundo Moh, Blaq Diamond, Big Zulu, Kamo Mphela, Focalistic, Jaziel Brothers, Lady Du, Chomee, DJ Cleo, Lwah Ndlunkulu, Dino Bravo, Professor, DJ Owami, DJ AJ, and more surprise acts who will add to the spirit of celebration.
