Garth Taylor brings his soothing melodies to The Caledon
Music lovers, it’s time to gear up for a memorable and soulful evening brought to you by the talented and acclaimed singer-songwriter Garth Taylor. He will enthral the audience with a one-of-a-kind performance on Saturday, 17 March 2018 at The Caledon Casino, Hotel, Spa and Entertainment.
Garth Taylor made his debut on the South African music scene in 1998 and, since then, has been topping the local charts. Garth has dominated with hits like "Why", which remained at number one for five consecutive weeks, and “Only With You”, which stayed at number one on Cape Town charts for six successive weeks.
Twenty years later, Garth’s career hasn’t slowed down - though his music has since matured. The musician still manages to keep his fans entertained with his passionate and energetic stage presence.
He has also shared the stage with acclaimed local and international singers like Simply Red, Shaggy, Jonathan Butler and the late Brenda Fassie.
Known for wearing many hats in the industry, Garth is a singer, songwriter and producer who somehow still manages to find the time to do some philanthropy work - helping to raise funds and awareness for organisations that care for abused women and children, as well as other charities.
