As
you may have seen on my socials, every Friday I have been posting about being at
the SABC Radio Park. In case you were not aware, the road to the 22nd
edition to the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz has been bringing Radio 2000 listeners
a great way to start the weekend with Live Unplugged Sessions featuring artists
performing at this year's festival.
This
week, multiple South African Music Awards winner Gloria Bosman will take us
into the long weekend with her Unplugged Session on Thursday the 8th
of August from 08:30 until 9am.
Gloria
will also be part of the opening night for the 2019 Standard Bank Joy of Jazz
festival on the 26th of September, featuring a never-to-be repeated all-star
band performance to celebrate 35 Years of the Standard Bank Young Artist (SBYA) Awards. The
performance will feature previous award winners like Shannon Mowday
(2007), Sibongile Khumalo (1993), Nduduzo Makhathini (2015), Concord Nkabinde
(2006), Bokani Dyer (2011) Mark Fransman (2008) to name a few.
Don't
miss the Radio 2000 Unplugged Sessions every Friday Morning between 08h30 and
09h00! The line-up is bloody exciting!
